You Are Here, Discovering the Magic of the Present Moment by Thich Nhat Hanh teaches the path to awakening through mindfulness and compassion. He reminds us that “The heart of Buddhist practice is to generate our own presence in such a way that we can touch deeply the life that is here and available in every moment.” With simple, yet profound explanations of the Dharma, he offers teachings and practices to work skillfully with our past, heal our wounds and pain, and cultivate true love.
One of the most well known and loved Buddhist teachers in the West, Thich Nhat Hanh is a monk, teacher, activist, and author. He suffered a stroke in 2014 and has been recovering at Plum Village, the Buddhist Center in France that he founded. On his 94th birthday, Oct. 11, 2020, his health was stable, thanks to the care of his medical team and monastic community.
This series runs every other week 1/12,1/26, 2/9, 2/23, 3/9, 3/23. You must be pre-registered to attend.
