We often practice to get rid of suffering or to get peace. This is natural, but it often limits our ability to align ourselves with the primary conditions that allows letting go and peace to arise. This is awareness itself. In this day-long retreat we will work with a progressive five step mindfulness process drawn from various Buddhist calming and wisdom practices.
The goal is simply to learn to live with greater natural awareness, and then to explore off retreat how this approach can unify formal practice and daily life without a lot of effort.
