Making Friends with Not Fully Being in Control; An Online Retreat
Saturday, August 7, 2021 - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
(With Half Day option)
With Chas DiCapua
From the weather, to other people’s behavior, to what enters our heart and mind, we find ourselves in not fully being in control. As with all of the Buddha’s teachings, he did not teach this to make us despondent, but to free us from suffering. To the degree that we can stop ignoring and be congruent with this truth, will be to the degree that we put down our arguments with the world and experience the peace of contentment.
In this day long retreat we will use the formal practice of sitting and walking to explore this truth. In addition, there will be time for small group discussion with teacher prompts and Q&A in the larger group setting.
Once you have registered for this offering, you will be sent a confirmation email, along with the Zoom link.
There is a half day option for this retreat that will run from 9am-12:30pm. You may register below for this.
