Great poetry often comes from the depths of seeing deeply into life. Used wisely, poetry can move us inwardly to live more freshly in the moments that make up our lives. In this summer series, we will read poetry that arises from, and leads us back to, a depth of feeling and connection and intimacy with the mystery of being alive. One poem will be emailed to you each week to inform your practice at home and will be used as a touchstone for discussion in class. Note: For those who sign up for the class series there will be an optional session held onsite at the Center led by Matthew.
There will be an optional one evening session that is part of this 6-week series. Matthew Daniell will host that one evening session on June 23rd at the Center from 7-9pm. All individuals attending the June 23rd class must be fully vaccinated (please bring a copy of your vaccination card with you or send an email with photo to firstname.lastname@example.org and registered for the entire class series. Masks are optional, not required.
You must be pre-registered to attend. Once you are registered, you will receive a confirmation email, along with the Zoom link.
This is a 6-week on-line class series that runs from 7/7-8/11 on Zoom. There are no drop-in classes.
